Watch Video of Cynthia: I was invited to be a guest speaker on February 11, 2024, for the CIRCLE of MIRACLES Spiritual Community. The content of the video includes some relevant biographical highlights of my journey in the healing arts, energy therapy and sacred geometry. I also shared what I call "FIVE GEMS" related to some advice I feel comfortable giving to those who engage in energy therapy. (One of them might surprise you!).
Part 1: Expanding Your Thinking from the Linear to the Sacred
Did you know that your body and the world of nature is full of sacred geometry? And that the same geometric forms make up the microcosm (smaller than the eye can see, such as DNA) and the macrocosm (that which is beyond what a person can visualize in the magnitude of the Universe)?
From the time of infant hood, we visually begin recognizing shapes as meaningful to our lives. “Symbols,” including geometric shapes, have deep, esoteric spiritual meanings that speak to us unconsciously at a soul level. As you reflect upon the chapters of your life in light of geometric symbols, you will discover how they may have influenced you consciously or unconsciously.
The study and application of sacred geometry in health and healing is an adventurous pursuit and may even be life-changing, due to the sense of awe, reverence, wonder and mystery that is awaiting you! Based on my personal experience, I believe that incorporating sacred geometry into our thinking and practices can expand our consciousness, deepen our faith and prayer lives, enlighten the understanding of the healing process and enhance the healing responses of our clients. Come explore with an open mind and heart! ...
Part 2: Expanding Your Thinking from the Linear to the Sacred
Introduction, Overview and Benefits
In Part 1, we established that the study of sacred geometry was ancient and that geometry was considered the most important of the sciences in order to understand creation and the metaphysical world. We laid some groundwork for appreciating several geometric patterns and their esoteric, cultural and spiritual meanings. My teaching and practice perspective of sacred geometry for energy therapy application is symbolic and spiritual,
rather than mathematical.
We learned about the meanings of the spiral, circle/sphere, cross, lemniscate, vesica Piscis,triangle,square/cube, 5-, 6-, 7- and 8-pointed stars. These are some of the geometric forms I teach about in my Sacred Geometry and Energy Therapy course. In this article, I will introduce you to a simple sacred geometry (SG) self-care treatment that will provide you with a personal experience of geometric patterns to support body-mind-spirit health and healing.
Sacred geometry (SG) is part of, and can be applied in, just about any science or discipline I can think of. And yes, it applies to energy therapy like a hand fits in a glove!...
Many of us appreciate the function of “charts” to help us organize knowledge
and see certain content or principles arranged in relationship to others.
The left brain likes when things are placed in boxes, categories, or some hierarchical structure because it wants to see things in relationship to one another. The right brain can then integrate the “whole” picture of the details and determine a sense of integration and overall sense or feel for the realm of content.
I developed this chart in the mid-1990s for the Healing Touch Program when I was the Director of Research. I hope you find it helpful in seeing the big picture of how we can think of the realm of health care in western societies. I’ll offer a brief explanation of each level to clarify the chart.
The title of the chart is: “The Spectrum of Health Care.” Spectrum indicates the wide variety of options that exist for practicing self–care and seeking holistic or mainstream possibilities....
