May 31st – June 3rd, 2012
Cynthia is an avid student of spirituality and energy medicine and has been on this path for over 30 years. Along with the expertise and collective wisdom from each participants’ Healing Touch practice, we will create an inspiring and stimulating group energy that will serve three purposes: individual spiritual growth, strengthening of our HT community, and the manifestation of a source book with your stories and insights. With in-depth Goethean conversation, we will explore intellectually, physically, artistically, and spiritually, the major concepts, philosophy and practices of Healing Touch as we relate them to our personal lives and HT practices. There will be sufficient SELF CARE time for journaling, resting, exercising or being out in nature. We will enjoy two sessions of creating energetic artwork, with supplies provided, and learn how to open our hara line through the use of Eurythmy (Body Prayer). Dancing and Drumming are also optional activities!

Shadowcliff is the Sacred Place where Janet Mentgen was inspired to create Healing Touch. In June of 2005, she held her last instructor gathering there, including a ceremony to welcome Cynthia as Healing Touch Program’s new Program Director. Classes will be held in the chapel.
Shadowcliff is an hour from Denver, outside the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The view overlooks Grand Lake, a pristine mountain lake and quaint town with fun shopping. One can drive, take a train, or shuttle from the airport. Shadowcliff staff will pick participants up who arrive by bus or train in town.

REGISTRATION DETAILS
WHO CAN ATTEND? This retreat and course is open to all Healing Touch Practitioners (Level 5 graduates) and Instructors!
ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE TIME:
Please plan to arrive at the retreat center by 1 p.m. on May 31st so that you may complete registration and settle in before our first gathering at 2 p.m. You may want to enjoy lunch in town (just a few blocks walk down the mountain) before class, as our first meal will be suppertime, around 6 p.m. If you plan on staying longer than when our time together ends (noon on Sunday, June 3rd), be sure to make your individual reservations with the retreat center as they may be preparing for another group. There is additional lodging in the town as well.
WHAT TO WEAR:
We will still be in the late spring of the Rocky Mountains, so anything is possible! Warm, cold, snow, rain, sun, clouds … so be prepared! Bring hiking shoes and rain gear if you plan to explore the beautiful forests and Rocky Mountain National Park (just a few miles away). Plan to wear casual, cozy clothes with the “layered look” to keep comfortable in heat or cold. Winter coats, hats and gloves may still be needed for early morning or late afternoon outings or if a cold spell occurs.
WHAT ELSE TO BRING?
If you will be driving to Shadowcliff and
are willing to bring a treatment table, please let me know, as we’ll be doing some group and individual healing work. I’ll be providing basic art supplies for our two art activities, but if you have a favorite medium or special kind of paper, feel free to bring that as well. Don’t forget your journal, business cards/brochures and photos, books or objects that you might want to show us when we are sharing in group circle. Yes, do bring your camera! Have a drum, flute or other portable instrument? PLEASE bring it if you can! We’ll see how Spirit moves us musically!
